This may be a run of the mill fantasy manga story but at least the artwork makes this manga somewhat worth reading.
Lewin Radit is a young boy who goes to an academy with separate classes for wizards and swordsmen. He has no talent for magic and so he is in the swordsman class. Still he has an interest in magic and so sneaks a peak at the magic class and in the process of doing so makes friends with two students there, Chris and Soela. However Lewin has a secret talent hidden inside him that he, much less Chris and Soela, knows about which could make him into one of the most powerful wizards in the land.
If you are familiar with the fantasy genre you probably have read a story somewhat like Aventura whether it be in manga, movie or book format. While I won't go as far to say that the characters and plot of this manga are complete clichés they don't really do anything that would make them all that special. While this isn't a very good story this lack is somewhat made up for by the artwork which has a complex and unique style to it. While I wouldn't consider Aventura to be all that great of a manga I would say that if you really like fantasy stories you might like this manga.
