Anime Review: Ranma Big Trouble in Nekonron China

Hey everybody it's a Ranma movie and who doesn't like Ranma? Unless you are one of those freaks that don't this movie this promises to be an hour of good fun.

On a normal day (well normal for Ranma, check out the chase sequence in the beginning of the movie and you will see what I mean) a mysterious stranger appears. What people thought was a black blob is actually a young girl and her elephant looking for revenge. A minute later a flying ship appears and do to a thrown scroll and a strange tradition, Kirin and the rest of the seven lucky gods kidnap Akane with the intention of her marrying Kirin. So it is up to Ranma and company to save her.

For those unfamiliar with Ranma it is the story of a teenage martial artist with curse that causes him to change into a girl when he comes into contact with cold water. Not only this, through the incompetence and greed of his father he is engaged to four women. It is a very popular series sporting a 100+ episode television series.

Another supplementary movie (a movie based off of an established show). The movie isn't much better or worse than the rest of the series. It contains the same mix of action and comedy that the rest of the series does. It also has a nice song at the end. It's no classic but it's good fun and we all need a little of that every so often. There is not much I can say about it other than that.
