Review Kokoro Library Written by Warpshadow Rating good

A small girl working in a library is the idea behind this shojo anime show. There isn't any flashy magic sequences or action and unfortunately there isn't much of anything else in the show either.

Kokoro is the new librarian in a library in the mountains that has the same name as her. Kokoro lives with her two sisters. They are Iina, a kind woman who has something of an obsession for her younger sister, and Aruto, who is kind of grumpy from time to time and has a secret identity. Together the three of them run a library where small miracles are said to happen.

Kokoro Library is a cute show but unfortunately it there isn't much more to it than that. The plot, especially in the earlier episodes is rather thin, largely because there is only so much that can happen at a library that doesn't have many patrons. The aesthetic side of the show (animation and music) follow the theme of cuteness but are generally unremarkable. This show may appeal to those in need of a "feel good" type of show but anyone else may find Kokoro Library to be disgustingly insipid.
