Although I don't want to come off as sounding homophobic if there is one thing that should be clearly labeled when you get an anime show is the presence of homosexuality, especially if it goes beyond the PG realm. I warn you since Adv hasn't

While driving down the road Osamu and Jay are stopped by the military. Without warning there is an explosion that throws Osamu into a trailer. Inside he finds a mysterious and beautiful person in a glass container and is attracted to that person. The person is named Kimera and is being held at a laboratory where Jay's father is working. What is not known by any of them is that Kimera is a part of a dying alien race that feeds of off human blood.

Kimera is a one shot science fiction Oav and not a good one at that. While can not be completely sure of it's original quality I did not like what I saw. The most obvious case of this is that despite the movie's insentience that Kimera is androgynous by looking at it Kimera is definitely a male. That blatant dishonesty really hurt the movie in my eyes. Also the attempt to portray the aliens as sympathetic when all they do is kill people without provocation the rest of the movie also strains credibility. While the premise of the movie is okay the plot is crudely hammered into a short time frame and nothing is really fleshed out. While fans of Yaoi may enjoy this a bit (yes the movie is explicit at times) I wouldn't recommend it.
