Review Kujibiki UnbalanceWritten by WarpshadowRating good

This show is a parody of any and everything anime which is good but in the end it is the only thing that this show has going for it.

Chihiro Enomoto is a young man with incredible luck, all of it bad. One day he takes part in the school’s traditional lottery and draws the lot stating that he is to be the next school president. While being the student president of the ridiculously powerful Rikiuyen academy may sound like the height of good luck there is a huge hidden drawback. First Chihiro and the other students selected for the student council must complete a one year apprenticeship perfectly, for if they fail even one task they will not only not be the next student council they will be expelled. Will Chihiro be able to survive under the watchful eye of the student council, even though it includes his estranged childhood friend Ritsuko?

At it’s heart Kujibiki Unbalance is a show based off of the joke show in the Otaku epic Genshiken. The tie in still apparent in this show as the Genshiken cast talks during the episode previews and the Genshiken Oavs are bundled with the Dvd release of this show. As for the show itself Kujibiki Unbalance is a wacky comedy where anything can happen and quite a bit of it does. However quite a bit of this shbow looks like it is a mountain of clichés which maybe something that was done on purpose given the natur of the show. Overall I found this to be a show that is mediocre in the extreme and unless you are willing to watch a show that is an accessory to Genshiken you can safely avoid this show.
